Can a Century-Old vaccine stop bladder Cancer's return?

NCT ID NCT06747455

Summary

This study is testing whether a treatment called BCG, given directly into the bladder, can prevent early-stage bladder cancer from coming back after tumor removal surgery. It will involve 438 adults who have had surgery for intermediate or high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The main goal is to see if BCG treatment improves the one-year and two-year rates of staying cancer-free compared to standard care.
