Study finds soccer players sprint faster, recover quicker after single BCAA dose
NCT ID NCT07347509
Summary
This study tested if a single pre-game dose of amino acid supplements could boost performance in elite youth soccer players. Twenty-one players took either BCAA, L-Arginine, or a placebo before training. The results showed that BCAA improved 20-meter sprint times, agility, and heart rate recovery, while L-Arginine did not show significant benefits.
