New chikungunya vaccine trial aims to protect millions

Summary
This study tests a new vaccine called BBV87 to see if it can safely protect people from chikungunya, a virus spread by mosquitoes that causes fever and joint pain. About 1000 healthy volunteers aged 12 to 65 will receive the vaccine and be monitored for side effects and immune response. The goal is to find out if the vaccine triggers enough antibodies to prevent infection.
