New chikungunya vaccine trial aims to shield thousands

Summary
This study tests a new vaccine called BBV87 to see if it can protect healthy people aged 12 to 65 from chikungunya, a virus spread by mosquitoes that causes fever and joint pain. About 1,000 volunteers will receive the vaccine and be monitored for side effects and immune response. The goal is to find a safe and effective way to prevent this disease.
