New drug enters human testing in fight against advanced cancers

Summary
This is a first-in-human study to test the safety, side effects, and best dose of a new investigational drug called BB-1709. It is for adults with advanced solid tumors that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery and have stopped responding to standard treatments. The study will first find a safe dose and then test that dose in more patients to see if the drug shows early signs of fighting their cancer.
