First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This early pilot study tested whether taking bazedoxifene plus conjugated estrogens for 6 months could change breast MRI markers in 16 women at moderate risk for breast cancer who also had menopausal symptoms like hot flashes. The goal was to see if the treatment was acceptable and could reduce breast tissue changes linked to cancer risk. Results are preliminary and not yet available.
