New cancer drug enters first human safety trial

Summary
This is the first study in people to test a new drug called BAT8008 for advanced solid tumors. The main goal is to find a safe dose and understand how the drug moves through the body in patients whose cancer has progressed after standard treatments. Researchers will also look for early signs that the drug might help control the cancer.
