First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at how a medicine called BAT® works in children who have or may have botulism, a rare but serious illness caused by a toxin. Researchers will take blood samples to see if the dose given is right, and check for any side effects. Up to 10 children from birth to under 12 years old can join, and a doctor will follow up by phone 30 days later.
