Summary

This study aimed to find out which of two 8-week training programs was better for improving athletic performance in young female basketball players. Researchers compared high-intensity resistance training against eccentric (muscle-lengthening) resistance training. They measured changes in leg strength, balance, and explosive jumping power in 40 participants.
