Scientists probe Athletes' muscles Mid-Game to unlock secrets of fatigue

NCT ID NCT07250555

Summary

This study aims to understand what happens inside basketball players' bodies during a real game. Researchers will observe 30 healthy players, taking small muscle samples and blood tests before, during, and after games to see how their energy stores change and relate to feelings of fatigue. The goal is to gather knowledge about athletic performance, not to test a new treatment.
