Summary
This study is looking at 50 adults without prior irregular heartbeat who are scheduled for heart surgery. Researchers want to see if scarring (fibrosis) in the heart's upper chambers before surgery can predict who will develop a temporary irregular heartbeat after the operation. The goal is to better understand risk factors and improve patient care.
