Summary
This study looks at whether special supplements made for people who had weight-loss surgery work better than standard multivitamins at preventing vitamin and mineral deficiencies. About 624 adults who are scheduled for sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, or one-anastomosis bypass will take either the specialized supplement or a standard multivitamin for 12 months. Researchers will check blood levels of key nutrients like iron, vitamin B12, and vitamin D, and also track how well participants tolerate and stick with the supplements.
