Barbers fight HIV: shops become health hubs in uganda trial

NCT ID NCT06148584

Summary

This study tested whether barbershops could be effective places to help prevent HIV. Researchers worked with 18 barbershops in Uganda to see if barbers could provide HIV education and self-test kits to their male customers. The goal was to see if this approach was practical and acceptable to both barbers and the men they serve.
