New balloon aims to keep airways open longer

NCT ID NCT07191860

Summary

This trial is testing a new balloon coated with a drug (paclitaxel) to treat non-cancerous narrowing of the windpipe or main airways. It will compare this new balloon to the current standard treatment of balloon dilation without the drug. The main goal is to see if the drug-coated balloon keeps the airway open for a longer time, reducing the need for repeat procedures.
