NCT ID NCT06959277

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests a wearable device called Walkasins that may help people with peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage) feel where their feet are on the ground, improving balance and walking. About 200 adults aged 55 and older with balance problems from neuropathy will use the device daily for six months, while a control group waits. Researchers will compare walking tests and fall reports to see if the device makes a real difference.
