Can special exercises help stroke survivors regain their balance and prevent falls?

NCT ID NCT07404371

Summary

This study is testing whether a new type of balance training can help people who have had a stroke improve their stability and reduce their risk of falling. Researchers will compare two groups: one will practice balance exercises under challenging conditions (like with eyes closed or on unstable surfaces), while the other will do standard balance exercises. The goal is to see if the new 'sensory reweighting' method leads to better balance and fewer falls than the usual approach.
