One workout to fight falls and boost fitness after stroke?

NCT ID NCT04042961

Summary

This study tested if a special type of exercise called 'reactive balance training' could improve fitness and reduce fall risk for people who have had a stroke. Researchers compared it to standard aerobic and strength exercises in a small group of 28 participants. The goal was to see if this single, time-efficient workout could improve heart health, leg strength, and balance confidence all at once, but the trial was stopped early.
