Can feeling the ground better stop falls after a stroke?
NCT ID NCT07077837
Summary
This study tested a new balance training method for people with leg weakness (hemiplegia) after a stroke. It aimed to see if improving how well they can feel differences in floor surfaces through their feet could reduce their risk of falling and improve leg strength. The trial involved 34 stroke survivors and compared the new training to standard balance exercises.
