New Brain-Body workout aims to keep seniors steady on their feet

NCT ID NCT07199426

Summary

This study is testing whether a new type of exercise that combines physical balance training with mental challenges is better than standard balance exercises for older adults. It involves 34 participants aged 70 and over who can walk independently. Over 8 weeks, one group will use a light-based reaction game during workouts, while the other does conventional exercises, to see which better improves balance, reduces fear of falling, and helps with daily activities.
