Can watching the right person on video help you stand steadier?
NCT ID NCT06206668
Summary
This study tested whether watching videos of a person you feel similar to could improve balance in healthy adults, compared to watching a standard person or nature scenes. Researchers randomly assigned 165 healthy participants to watch different videos and then measured their static and dynamic balance. The goal was to gather knowledge about how our brains process movement observation and its potential link to physical stability.
