Summary
This completed study aimed to understand what physical and mental factors most influence a person's ability to balance. Researchers measured 119 healthy young adults, testing their balance on one leg and while reaching, along with their strength, foot shape, and thinking speed. The goal was to gather knowledge to help design better balance assessments and fall prevention programs in the future.
