New cancer drug enters human testing for Tough-to-Treat tumors

NCT ID NCT05768932

Summary

This is a first-in-human study to find a safe dose of a new drug called BAL0891. It will test the drug alone and in combination with other cancer therapies in 260 adults with advanced solid tumors or a type of leukemia that has returned or not responded to treatment. The main goal is to see how well the body tolerates the drug and to look for early signs that it might help control the cancer.
