NCT ID NCT07273539
Summary
This study aimed to understand how a toothpaste containing baking soda affects the community of bacteria in the mouth over 12 weeks. It compared this toothpaste to a regular fluoride toothpaste in 74 adults with mild to moderate gum inflammation. The main goal was to see if the baking soda formula changed the types and activity of bacteria in dental plaque.
