New vaginal treatment aims to restore healthy bacteria balance
NCT ID NCT07305844
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a vaginal treatment containing specific healthy bacteria can successfully take hold and help control bacterial vaginosis. It will involve 71 women who previously tried the treatment in another study but still have an imbalance in their vaginal bacteria. Researchers will give the treatment in a clinic for three days to see if this supervised approach leads to more consistent results.
