New hope for kids with chronic regurgitation disorder

NCT ID NCT05975684

Summary

This study tested whether a medicine called baclofen could help children with rumination syndrome, a condition that causes repetitive, effortless regurgitation of food. Fifty children aged 4-18 took either baclofen or a placebo (a dummy pill) for four weeks while continuing their usual care. Researchers measured if the medicine reduced vomiting episodes to help control the condition.
