NCT ID NCT07327827
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a back school exercise program or cranio-cervical muscle training works better for reducing pain, improving posture, and lowering disability in computer users with cervicogenic headache. Forty-four participants will attend two sessions per week for eight weeks. Researchers will measure pain levels, headache-related disability, posture alignment, and neck joint function.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
exercise programs (back school based intervention and cranio-cervical muscle training)
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could show that a simple back school exercise program is more effective than targeted neck muscle training for easing headache pain and improving posture in people who work at computers.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 44 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The interventions are non-drug and rely on patient adherence, so benefits may vary.
