New combo pill tested for faster back pain relief
NCT ID NCT06863662
Summary
This study tested if adding a muscle relaxant (tizanidine) to a common painkiller (etoricoxib) works better for sudden, severe low back pain with muscle spasms than the painkiller alone. 136 adults with recent back pain took part in this 7-day trial. Researchers compared pain levels and side effects between the two groups.
