Hands-On vs. Chill-Out: new study tests two Drug-Free paths to ease chronic back pain

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a specific hands-on spine mobilization technique or a guided relaxation and breathing program to standard physical therapy works better for easing chronic low back pain. It will involve 45 adults with long-term back pain of unknown cause. Researchers will measure changes in pain, mobility, and quality of life during and for three months after the 4-week treatment period.
