Study aims to get young athletes back in the game sooner after back injury
NCT ID NCT05505981
Summary
This study tested a new approach to rehab for teen athletes with a common back stress fracture called spondylolysis. It compared starting physical therapy immediately after diagnosis to the standard approach of waiting until pain goes away. The goal was to see if the immediate program helped athletes recover function, reduce pain, and return to sports faster, while being safe and tolerable.
