Does a C-Section weaken your core and cause more back pain?

NCT ID NCT05493891

Summary

This study aimed to understand if women who have a cesarean delivery experience more back pain and weaker core muscles compared to those who have a vaginal birth. Researchers measured back pain intensity and the strength of key abdominal and back muscles in 36 women 6-12 weeks after giving birth. The goal was to see if there is a link between the type of delivery, core strength, and back pain.
