Do back braces really help after spine surgery? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT02773134
Summary
This study tested whether wearing a back brace after common lower back fusion surgery helps patients feel better. It compared pain and quality of life in 43 patients who either wore a brace or did not for the first 3 months after their operation. The goal was to provide clearer evidence on whether this common practice is actually beneficial for recovery.
