Chemo-Free cocktail shows promise for rare blood cancer

Summary
This study tests a chemotherapy-free combination of three drugs (bortezomib, rituximab, and ibrutinib) as a first treatment for people with Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, a rare blood cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can keep the disease from getting worse for at least a year. About 53 participants will receive the treatment, and researchers will track how well it works and what side effects occur.
