First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests a brief mindfulness-based lifestyle program for caregivers of people with neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Many caregivers are physically inactive, raising their risk for heart disease and shortening life. The program uses mobile messages and counseling to help caregivers increase physical activity and manage stress. About 236 caregivers will take part, and their activity levels will be tracked with wristbands.
