First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests a brief mindfulness and lifestyle counseling program for caregivers of people with neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Many caregivers are inactive, raising their risk for heart disease and early death. The program uses mobile messages and group sessions to help caregivers become more active and manage stress. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and helpful for this busy group.
