Summary
This study tested two antibiotics, azithromycin and erythromycin, in 250 pregnant women whose water broke early (between 28 and 34 weeks). The goal was to see which drug better prevents infection in the mother and improves baby health at birth. Results will help doctors choose the best treatment for this high-risk condition.
