Summary

This study is testing whether adding the antibiotic azithromycin to standard treatments helps children hospitalized with severe asthma attacks. Researchers want to see if the drug reduces harmful inflammation in the lungs and helps kids recover faster. The study will enroll 100 children ages 3-17 who are in intensive care for asthma and track their recovery and any side effects.
