Summary

This study is testing whether azithromycin, an antibiotic, can reduce inflammation in children aged 3-17 hospitalized with severe asthma. About 100 participants will receive the drug alongside standard care. Researchers will measure changes in blood markers and track side effects, length of hospital stay, and recovery time.
