Promising combo targets rare sarcoma in new trial

Summary
This study tests whether combining two drugs—atezolizumab (an immunotherapy) and selinexor (a growth blocker)—can shrink tumors in people with a rare cancer called alveolar soft part sarcoma that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery. About 27 adults with this cancer will receive the combination and be monitored for tumor response. The goal is to see if this approach works better than current standard treatments like radiation or chemotherapy.
