First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study compares a new, personalized ablation method to the standard approach for treating atrial fibrillation (AFib), a common heart rhythm problem. About 556 adults with paroxysmal AFib will be randomly assigned to either standard treatment or a tailored procedure that targets their specific triggers. The goal is to see which method better prevents AFib from coming back and improves quality of life.
