Could medication replace surgery for some early breast conditions?
NCT ID NCT07245316
Summary
This study is testing whether some women with specific, early-stage breast cell changes can safely avoid surgery. Instead of an operation, participants will take hormone-blocking medication for five years. The main goal is to see how many develop invasive breast cancer in the same breast during that time, while also tracking survival and quality of life.
