First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether eating one avocado daily can lower inflammation and improve how the body uses insulin in overweight adults with high levels of a marker called hs-CRP. Participants will follow two 4-week diets (one with avocado, one without) separated by a break. The goal is to see if swapping refined carbs for avocado helps control disease risk factors.
