First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether eating one avocado every day can slow down aging at the cellular level in women who have survived breast cancer. Researchers will measure telomere length—a marker of biological aging—in 120 survivors over 4 months. Participants either eat an avocado daily or stick to their usual diet with fewer than two avocados per week.
