NCT ID NCT07556484

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This early-stage study looks at how the body processes a drug called avacopan in people with a rare autoimmune disease (ANCA vasculitis) that causes severe bleeding in the lungs. Only 6 patients who need a breathing machine will take the drug through a feeding tube. The goal is to measure drug levels in the blood over 72 hours, not to cure the disease but to see if this way of giving the drug works.
