Summary

This study tested a new anthrax vaccine called AV7909 in nearly 3,700 healthy adults aged 18 to 65. The goal was to see if it could produce a strong immune response after exposure to anthrax and compare it to the current licensed vaccine, BioThrax. The trial also checked for safety and whether different batches of the vaccine worked the same way.
