New stent aims to reduce repeat surgeries for dialysis patients

NCT ID NCT04261686

Summary

This study collected real-world data on a special stent graft used to treat narrowed blood vessels in the arm of people on dialysis. It involved 100 participants with a specific type of dialysis access called an arteriovenous fistula. The goal was to see how safe and effective the stent was at keeping the access point open and working for a longer time, potentially reducing the need for repeated procedures.
