Summary
This study tested a small mesh tube called the COVERA stent in patients receiving dialysis. The stent was placed in narrowed blood vessels of the arm to help keep the dialysis access point open and working properly. Researchers followed 100 patients to see how safe the device was and how long it helped prevent the access point from closing up again.
