First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a new automated camera (Vscan001) that takes detailed pictures of the front of the eye. It enrolled 54 adults at one eye clinic to see if the device could successfully capture usable images without a trained photographer. The goal was to measure how many people could be imaged, not to treat any condition.
