New heart scan tech aims to give surgeons faster, Life-Saving data

NCT ID NCT07496424

Summary

This study is testing new software that automatically measures heart strain in seconds during surgery, instead of the current manual method that takes about five minutes. Researchers want to see if the fast, automated results are as reliable as the slower manual measurements. The study involves 70 adults having heart surgery, using specific GE and TOMTEC ultrasound equipment.
