Can baby talk help autistic toddlers learn words? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06649916
Summary
This study aims to understand if a common, exaggerated speaking style parents use with babies helps autistic toddlers learn new words. Researchers will observe 100 children, with and without autism, as they watch videos and interact with an adult using this style. The main goal is to gather knowledge about how these children process language, which could inform future teaching approaches.
