Can teaching eye contact to toddlers unlock better social skills?

NCT ID NCT06596226

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific parent-led technique focused on mutual eye contact can help improve social skills, communication, and daily living skills in young children (16-30 months old) who show early signs of autism. Researchers will compare two versions of a parent coaching program—one with the eye contact training and one without—to see which is more effective. The goal is to find better early intervention strategies, especially for families from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.
