Researchers link posture and hand skills to eating challenges in autism

NCT ID NCT06209463

Summary

This study aimed to understand how posture, hand function, and sensory processing relate to eating behaviors in children with autism. Researchers compared 40 children with autism to 40 healthy children, measuring their balance, head posture, hand skills, and sensory responses. The goal was to gather knowledge to potentially inform future support strategies, not to test a treatment.
